Lot and shop lighting

A lot that sells after dark. Bays your techs can see in.

LED pole lights for the frontage and back lot, showroom lighting that meets your brand standards, and high-bays over the service drive and shop.

Why do dealerships switch to LED lot lighting?

LED lot lights use much less electricity than older metal halide fixtures, last far longer, and show vehicles in truer colour, so inventory looks better from the road at night. Brighter, more even light also gives your security cameras better footage and makes the lot feel safer for customers after dark.

What we light

Every part of the store.

Sales

Frontage and display lot

Even, bright light on the front row, so inventory stands out to traffic going by.

Sales

Showroom and delivery area

Lighting to your manufacturer's facility image guide, so cars and customers look their best.

Fixed ops

Service drive

A bright, welcoming write-up lane, even on a dark winter morning.

Fixed ops

Shop and bays

LED high-bays and strips over every hoist, so techs aren't working by droplight.

Lot

Back lot and storage

Light where the inventory sleeps, so the cameras can see it.

Signs

Pylon and building signs

Sign circuits, timers and photocells repaired, so the sign is on when it should be.

The lot

Pole lights that show off inventory.

Old metal halide heads go dim and orange long before they burn out. New LED heads, often on your existing poles, light the lot evenly in a white that shows true paint colour.

  • New LED heads on existing poles, or new poles and bases
  • We work a row at a time and tell you which spots to clear the night before
  • Photocells and timers so the lot is lit from dusk to close, or all night
  • Knocked-down poles made safe and replaced

How it works

From lighting plan to switch-on.

  1. Walk the store

We look at every area at night and in the day, and review your brand's facility guide.

  2. Lighting plan

A layout showing light levels across the lot and shop, with fixture options and hydro savings.

  3. Quote and incentives

An itemized quote for the GM and controller, and any incentives that are open.

  4. Installation

Lot work early or after close, shop work bay by bay, so sales and service keep running.

  5. Switch-on

Controls set, light levels checked, and a record of what changed.

Questions

Lighting questions.

Are there incentives for LED lighting at a dealership?

Sometimes. Ontario's Save on Energy programs have offered incentives for lighting upgrades in commercial buildings, including parking lot and shop lighting. Programs and amounts change, so we check what is open before you approve the work.

Can you meet our manufacturer's lighting standards?

Yes. Send us your brand's facility image guide and we'll match the fixture types, colour temperature and light levels it asks for.

Will lot lighting work disrupt sales?

No. We work a row at a time, early in the morning or after close, and tell you which spots to clear the night before.

Can you put new LED heads on our existing light poles?

Usually, yes. If the poles, bases and wiring are in good shape, we replace the heads and reuse the rest. If not, we tell you which poles need replacing.
